Where is the Le Pavillon Royal campsite?
In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, just 3 km from the city center of Bidart and on the edge of a beautiful beach.
Is the permanent bracelet obligatory?
Yes ! It is necessary to ensure the safety in our establishment! You must wear it on your wrist so that it can be seen by the teams at the Pavillon Royal campsite.
Are animals allowed in the campsite?
No ! We do not accept any animals (dogs, cats …)
What is the area of the campsite?
Its area is 4.5 hectares
How many pitches does the Pavillon Royal have?
The campsite is composed of 309 pitches for tents and caravans and 9 rental accommodations (2 Apartments, 3 chalets and 4 mini-studios)
Is it shady?
The most shady part is located in the LA PINEDE area.
How is the customer composed?
It is mainly a European campsite! But we come from many other countries around the world! Here is the symbiosis between all nationalities. Our guests are couples (young or retired), families …
What are the opening dates?
In 2024, we will open Saturday, June 1rst 2.00 pm, and close on Sunday, October 13th 12.00.
Is there a bus service?
The bus stop is located 200m from the campsite (Prince de Galles Stop). Ticket price € 1.40 per person for 1 way. Free for children under 6 years old.
Are there any animations on the campsite?
An animation for children, is offered in July & August (during school holidays), Monday to Friday from 10am to 12pm.
In high season, aquagym, pilate and yoga classes are offered. Musical aperitifs are organized in the early evening. Concerts are set up at the restaurant level from 21h.
Can we park a vehicle on the site?
Yes, for caravan pitches.
No, for tent pitches that are not accessible with the car and a trailer. A parking space is provided for each tent pitch for 1 vehicle.
What are the services of the massage parlor?
You will find a person, a graduate of state who will advise you on many massages according to your wishes. But also a hammam. The place is very cozy and zen!
What are the activities around the campsite?
Very many! For all ages and for all tastes! Surf, water park, animal park, aquarium, discotheque, theme bar, mini-golf, natural site … you will find all the information at the reception!
Is the campsite secure?
A security guard is present from 9pm to 8am during the entire opening period of the campsite. Video surveillance cameras are installed on the campsite for your safety.
Can we rent a car?
We do not have a car rental service, but various rental agencies are located near the campsite.
Can we rent a bike?
Yes ! On site at the reception, but adult bicycles only and depending on the stock available with our partner Marty Bike Rental.
Can we rent surfing material?
Yes ! At the reception. Or with our provider Marty www.martysurfdelivery.com
A doctor is present on the campsite?
No. We have a defibrillator. Many hospitals, clinics, doctors, dentists … are close to our campsite.
Is there wifi on the campsite?
Yes ! On the whole campsite. Wifi connection is free. A WiFi code will be given to you on arrival.
What methods of payment are accepted at the Pavillon Royal campsite?
We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard …), bank transfers and cash.
How far is the nearest station?
Biarritz station is 4km away. Bayonne train station 17 km. www.oui.sncf
How far is the nearest airport?
Biarritz Airport is 7 km away. www.biarritz.aeroport.fr
Is there a cash machine on the campsite?
No. You will find a cash distributor just 1km from the campsite at the Intermarché shopping center.
What is the information for people with reduced mobility?
Our staff receives information every year about the reception of people with disabilities. The campsite is up to standard, we have parking spaces, camping pitches, lift, sanitary adapted … Note that access to the beach chair is complicated (steep slope + steps).
