Where is Le Pavillon Royal ?

In Aquitaine, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, only 2 km from the town centre of Bidart and beside a splendid beach.

Is the permanent bracelet compulsory ?

Yes! It is necessary in order to ensure the security of our establishment! You must wear it on your wrist.

Are pets allowed in the campsite ?

Non! We accept no pets (dog, cat…)

What is the size of the campsite ?

It has an area of 5 hectares.

How many pitches does the Royal Pavilion have ?

The campground is made up of 310 campsites for tents and caravans, and 9 rental accommodations (chalets, studios…)

Is it shady ?

The least shady areas are “Les Ailes” and “L’Océan”. The campground is generally well shaded.

How is the clientele composed ?

It’s mostly a European campground! But we come from many countries from all over the world! Here there’s harmony between all nationalities. Our guests are young or retired couples), families…

What are the opening dates ?

In 2019, we are open from 13 May and close 30 Septermber.

Is there a bus service ?

The bus stop is 400 m from the campground. In July & August, the shuttle bus is free, courtesy of the campground. Once supplied with the ticket, you can take the 12 and 13 buses of the Chronoplus network. On board, upon presentation of the pass, the driver will give the passenger a ticket valid on all the lines of the urban area for a day. There are also night buses for Biarritz during this period.

Are there activities for children and teenagers ?

In July & August, a coordinator offers activities for children 5 days a week, and for teenagers once a week, in the evening.

Are there animations for adults ?

In the high season,there are activities twice a week, mainly for adults. There are also a number of concerts.

Can we park a vehicle on the site ?

Yes, on most of the campsites. All the others have a car park space.

What are the services of the massage parlor ?

There you will find Jenny, who is state-qualified to advise you on various massages according to your wishes. And there is also a Turkish bath and tea room. The place is very cosy and Zen!

What are the activities around the campsite ?

Lots! For every age and every taste! Surfing, water park, wildlife park, aquarium, night club, themed bar, mini-golf, nature site… you will find all the information at reception!

Is the campsite secure ?

The campground is equipped with a number of surveillance cameras, and a security guard is present from 9pm to 8am during the campground’s open period.

Can I rent a car ?

Yes! Our partner picks you up and takes you to the campground!

Can we rent a bike?

Yes! On site, depending on the available stock! (see “For Hire”)

Can we rent surfing material?

Yes! On the beach of Le Pavillon Royal with our service provider Or with Marty :

A doctor is present on the campsite?

No. We offer automatic first aid call machines. There are many hospitals, clinics, doctors, dentists, etc. near our campground.

Is there wifi on the campsite?

Yes! Across the whole campground (for an additional fee) and at a terminal at reception (30 min free).

What methods of payment are accepted at the Pavillon Royal campsite?

We accept debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), bank transfers, and cash.

How far is the nearest station?

The Biarritz train station is 4 km away. The Bayonne train station is 17 km away.

At that distance is the nearest airport?

The Biarritz airport is 7 km away.

Is there a cash machine on the campsite?

No. You will find a cashpoint just 2 km from the campground in the Bidart town centre.

What is the information for people with reduced mobility?

Each year, our staff receive information regarding the reception of persons with a disability. The campground comply with the standards and we offer car park spaces, campsites, a lift… Please note that access to the beach with a wheelchair is complicated (steep slope).
